What is the philosophy of SpaAsia magazine?
The magazine has a myriad of objectives but all are aimed at bridging the gap between consumers and providers of services in the spa and wellness industries, but to a deeper level.

| 2. |
What level?
We are not talking about just creating a bridge for consumers and suppliers of services to meet per se. SpaAsia aims to create an environment where discernment and responsibility co-exists. Consumers become informed and service providers know that they must be committed, accountable and responsible to their client’s well-being.

Surely SpaAsia cannot expect to achieve such high aims through a bi-monthly publication alone?
One would be terribly naïve to think so!

| 4. |
So how does SpaAsia propose to achieve that aim of going deeper in that relationship?
Our writers and contributors share their expertise and knowledge and thus spread word of a new shift that is happening in the realm of wellness and health - in the way we look at health and wellness. SpaAsia is positioned to be the conduit.
To take it further and realize the aim of being the bridge, SpaAsia also organizes events within the region. These help to bring about an awareness and hence the relationship to another level. These events include the annual SpaAsia Wellness Summit, SpaAsia Crystal Awards (SACA), the up-coming Corporate Wellness Conference and so on. SACA is in a sense the culmination of the industry’s search for excellence. Secondary events subsidiary to these which are also aimed at promoting the shift include SpaAsia Reader’s Choice Awards come to mind.

Is it a travel magazine as well?
It may be seen as that to a point as we also feature destinations with every issue but the accent of stories are wellness- and spa-centric.

| 6. |
How often is it published?
It is a bi-monthly publication and hits the shelf every odd month - Jan, March, May etc.

| 7. |
Where can I buy/find this magazine?
Off the shelf, SpaAsia can be found in a select chain of bookstores – Borders Bookstores, Kinokuniya Book Stores, MPH Bookstores, Popular Book Co. and Times The Bookshop among others. Travellers, sojourners and holiday-makers can easily find the magazine in high-end resorts and hotels around the Asia-Pacific region. A few airlines carry SpaAsia as part of their in-flight library.
