  1. How do I register for the Summit?
    You can register through our online registration form at
    www.spaasia.biz/saws08/register.asp

    Or you can also fax or mail the printed registration form by downloading the PDF version. The download link will be available soon.

  2. When is the closing date for the registration of the Wellness Summit?
    There is no definite closing date for the registration. All seats are on a first-come-first-served basis.

  3. Can I reserve a seat without making the payment first?
    No. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

B. Payments & Cancellations
  1. How can I pay for the Summit packages?
    1. Payment by BANK DRAFT:
      Bank drafts should preferably be made in MALAYSIAN RINGGIT equivalent payable to WM PRODUCTIONS SDN BHD.

    2. Payment by CHEQUE:
      Only cheques issued by MALAYSIAN banks can be accepted. Cheques are to be made payable to WM PRODUCTIONS SDN BHD.

    3. Payment by TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER:
      Payment in MALAYSIAN RINGGIT equivalent can be made via telegraphic transfer with a top-up charge of USD20 for bank charges. Please refer to the following to transmit via telegraphic transfer:

  3. What do I do if I want to cancel my registration?
    Please note that cancellations received on or before September 1, 2008 are subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on original payment. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after September 1, 2008. Kindly write in to info@wellnesssummit.com to inform us of your cancellation.

  4. If I cannot attend the event after registering as a delegate, can a colleague take my place without submitting a new registration?
    No. Your colleague must go through the registration process and make new payment as every registered delegate is provided with a delegate ID, which is non-transferable. Registered delegates who cannot attend the event cannot transfer their exclusive ID to another colleague as every ID is unique. The replacement candidate must register as a delegate using his or her own particulars to obtain a new exclusive delegate ID.

C. After Registration
  1. Will I get a document to ensure my access to the Summit and its packages?
    You will receive a link to an Online Delegate Data Sheet when you register. This is a personalized information page, which requires an ID and password to log in. It contains the Delegate's personal details, allocated hotel and accommodation information that needs to be confirmed and submitted online.

    Once you submit the form, you will be directed to your Letter of Confirmation page that you will need to print out and present it to enjoy the package that you have signed up for.
    Please ensure that you have your Letter of Confirmation to facilitate smooth processing of your delegate pass.

D. Host Venue & Accommodation
  1. What is host venue?
    Host venue is where the Wellness Summit activities are held.

  2. Which is the host venue?
    The Wellness Summit 2008 will be held at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

  3. Where will delegates be accommodated?
    Delegates for this year's Wellness Summit will be accommodated at the venue hotel, Palace of the Golden Horses.

Wellness Summit Programme

  1. What are Masters Sessions?
    Master Sessions are namely Yoga, Qigong, Taichi & Meditation classes held at the start of each Summit day from from October 15 – 17.

  2. How do I choose the Masters Sessions that I want to attend?
    You can choose the Masters Sessions in your Online Delegate Data Sheet. The Online Delegate Data Sheet is a personalized information page, which requires an ID and password to log in. The form will contain the Delegate’s personal details, together with their allocated hotel and accommodation information that needs to be confirmed and submitted online. Once you submit the form, you will be directed to your Letter of Confirmation page that you will need to print out.

  3. Can I choose not to attend the Masters Sessions?
    Masters Sessions are optional activities. Only Full Summit Package delegates are entitled to these sessions.

  4. Are the mats provided for Yoga?
    No. Please bring your own mats.

  5. What is a Zen Break?
    Zen Break is an interval where light refreshments are served.

  6. What is the appropriate dress code for the 3 days?
    Masters Sessions: Comfortable, loose clothes
    Summit Sessions: Smart casual or resort wear
    Welcome Reception on October 15: Smart casual
    SpaAsia Crystal Awards 2008 Gala Night on October 16: Black Tie or Traditional Dress

    Full Summit Package: USD1500
    Second Delegate (Twin Share): USD1350
    (If there are 3 delegates in a group, the third delegate will occupy an additional single room and pay USD1500)

  3. How much does the Full Summit Package (Supporting Spa Association* Member Package) cost?
    Full Summit Package (Supporting Spa Association* Member Package): USD1,300
    Second Delegate (Twin Share): USD1,150
    * In support of legitimate spa associations, Wellness Summit extends preferential rates to members of these entities. Kindly fax a copy of your membership certificate to +603 2166 1966 to enjoy this special discount.

  4. How much does the 3-Day Summit Pass cost?
    3-Day Summit Pass: USD950

  5. What is the difference between the Full Summit Package and Full Summit Package (Supporting Spa Association Member Package)?
    Both packages are entirely the same, except that Delegates on the Full Summit Package (Supporting Spa Association Member Package) enjoy a 15% discount as compared to the Delegates on the Full Summit Package.
