Business
Much time was spent on discussing some of the business challenges we are all facing. Finding out what our clients really want and attracting and employing people were topping the list. We heard many examples of how to recruit, motivate and reward employees.
But it was Raymond Nadeau who opened our eyes to new approaches of marketing our services to a clientele whose lifestyles and expectations are rapidly changing.
Raymond brought our attention to successful techniques used in other industries and made us think about whether we had explored what services will be required, how they should be offered, how they are to be marketed? We heard that there are over 20 recorded senses. How many are we now addressing and how are spas using these senses to market their business?
Wellness can be a successful business and the smartest people don’t reinvent the wheel – they adapt the wheel for the new market. So we can all learn from other industries – if only we are open to their ideas.
