Geraldine Howard is President of Aromatherapy Associates, a UK company which develops specialized aromatherapy products and treatments to a professional and therapeutic standard for spas worldwide. Besides working on all Aromatherapy Associates’ formulations, Geraldine remains a practising aromatherapist. She regularly contributes to spa articles globally, and Aromatherapy Associates has earned a number of prestigious beauty industry awards. Geraldine trained in beauty therapy and cosmetic science at the London College of Fashion, obtaining a City & Guilds diploma in 1973. In 1974, she qualified as an aromatherapist working with Micheline Arcier and Dr Jean Valnet. In 1985 she co-founded The International Federation of Aromatherapists.

NORMAN GLYN JONES

Norman Glyn Jones is the co-founder of Sensara Limited, which creates custom natural Skin Care, Spa Treatments and Guest Amenities. He is also the co-founder of Premchit Saithong Limited, which creates bespoke natural Personal Perfumes and custom natural Signature Scents. With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Sydney, Norman became an international agricultural commodity trader and has spent more than ten years providing incentive marketing, loyalty marketing and business process outsourcing services to a diverse range of international clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Norman’s appreciation of all things natural is due to growing up in a family who lived off the back garden growing, preserving and eating fresh fruits and vegetables. His appreciation of natural therapies is a result of his mother’s unconventional approach to family health, visiting acupuncturists, chiropractors, herbalists, iridologists and naturopaths, more often than medical doctors.

Ruth Ostrow is one of Australia's leading Mind Body Soul writers, educators and Keynote speakers, with her columns in The Australian newspaper read by millions of people in Australia and Asia, and a host of best-selling books to her credit in the areas of human relations, money, and wellbeing. LEE STEPHENS
Director, Paua Spas

Lee Stephens is the Director of Paua Spas, which includes Paua Spa at CentreStage, the Beautiful Skin Centre, Elemis Day Spa, Well Being Centre and the Victorian Spa at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Ziz Skincare for Men. Lee oversees the operations and business development of all six spas and is instrumental in the development of the spas division within the Paua Group.

Joining the Beautiful Skin Group in 2003, Lee managed the Elemis Day Spa before accepting the added responsibility for the operations and growth of the Beautiful Skin Centre. Through the merger of the Beautiful Skin Group and the Frederique Group in October 2003, Lee took on the role of Director of the two group’s collective spas. Since the merger, Lee has overseen the formation of the Paua Spa at CentreStage, the opening of the Victorian Spa at HK Disneyland Hotel and the multi-million dollar refurbishment of the Beautiful Skin Centre.

Prior to his arrival in Hong Kong, Lee travelled the globe working with leading hotels and cruise lines including Cunard, Royal Viking, HAL, Crystal as well as the Spa at Atlantis in Paradise Island. Originally from the United Kingdom, Lee has lived overseas most of his life and for many years called Mallorca, Spain home.  Hong Kong is now a happy second home.

Adam Horler has worked in the health & beauty industry throughout his career – with P&G, L’Oreal, red earth cosmetics and Molton Brown, He has also been a global buyer for AS Watson, a group with over 7,500 stores.
 
He is currently CEO of Molton Brown Asia. Adam’s expertise lies in the sales and marketing of personal care brands. He has managed over 100 shops at red earth and opened 3 flagship Molton Brown stores in the past 18 months. Adam is married to Ann Gowing, who has worked in the wellness industry in Asia since 1994.
 
Adam will be the MD of his own business, Osmosis Ventures from November 2008. Carrying a corporate mission described as “Promoting Conscious Living”, Osmosis Ventures will be working with smaller organic and environmentally-friendly brands, advising and bringing them to a wider audience.
 
At Wellness Summit 2008 Adam will challenge you to become retailers as well as therapists and spa owners & operators. It is not rocket science, but so few do it right!
